The Hours of Service logbook built for the cab.
SynOdos HOS is a progressive web app for daily duty status records. It tracks driving, on-duty, and cycle hours against the Canadian HoS rules, generates an officer-ready report, and keeps working when the signal does not.
Individual drivers and fleet managers. No credit card required to join the waitlist.

Canadian HoS, built into every entry
Limits are checked as duty status changes are recorded, not discovered during an audit.

What is in the app
Everything below is part of the HoS build, from the log grid to the officer report to the offline sync queue.
24-hour log grid
The whole day at a glance: every duty status change plotted against a scrolling 24-hour grid, with drag-scroll for reviewing earlier days.
Rolling totals
Daily driving, on-duty, and cycle hours recalculate as each event is entered, so a limit is never a surprise at the end of the shift.
Cycle 1 and Cycle 2
Switch between the 70-hour / 7-day and 120-hour / 14-day cycles. Preferences also cover exemptions and unit display.
Tamper-proof audit trail
Every edit to a record of duty status requires a reason code and is written to an audit trail, so the history stays intact.
Guided Schedule 5 inspection
Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections run as a step-by-step checklist instead of a paper form in the door pocket.
Roadside officer report
An officer-ready report with a QR code and a PDF export, generated from the log on the device at the side of the road.
Offline-first storage
Logs are written to IndexedDB on the device first and sync later. The app keeps working through dead zones and long rural routes.
Cloud sync
Google Drive sync through a Supabase edge function, with a live status badge for synced, syncing, and offline states.
English and French
The interface is bilingual end to end, which matters for carriers operating across Ontario and Quebec.
Built for the roadside stop
When an officer asks for the last seven days, the answer should not be a shuffle through paper. The log is already on the device, signed, and ready to hand over.
- QR transfer: Hand the officer a scannable code instead of a screen.
- PDF export: A formatted report generated on-device with jsPDF.
- Audit trail: Edits carry a reason code; certified logs lock until unlocked.
- Works offline: No signal needed at the shoulder of a highway.
